This simple and statement making center piece is a collection of pieces that I've gathered around from other parts of my apartment. This tray can be personalized add pieces you like, play around with colors and textures.Since the colors in my kitchen are neutral I like to stay within the same color palette if you love bold colors then go for it get creative! This is a inexpensive idea that is really fun to assemble be sure to get the kids involved in making there own tray for their room.
In my center piece tray:
-Wood breakfast Tray
-A deep purple candle
-A cactus in a bright red vase for a "pop" of color
-Mini cook books to give that kitchen/dining room feel
-Candle holder with pesos on top (reminds me of our trip to Mexico)
-A vase I found for 1$ it really fits nicely with the other colors.-Another vase with vertical stripes which fits well with the lines of the other circular vase. (I filled it with sea shells that we've collected.)
Ideas of things you can use for your center piece tray:
-One juicy red apple ( or any fruit of your choice)
-Decorative mug
-Small cylinder vase with white flower
-Picture frame
-Recipe books that you use
-Cut fresh rosemary put in a vase
-Scented candles I find that a spice scent is best for kitchen/dining room ( avoid really strong scented candles keep it subtle)
-Small beta fish in a bowl proportional to the size of your tray.
-Small plant
-Use pieces with bright colours
-Salt & Pepper holders
Go ahead have fun and add items you love! It's all about trial and error re-arranging pieces adding some seeing what works and what doesn't.
